Chapter 9 Elecciones Generales
And I related those words with the film I've just seen that is called "Fahrenheit" and it presents the ambitiuos plan of the United States' government during the war in Iraq, In my view,it is a country that spends a lot of money and technology on the development of the production of the weapons of mass- destruction instead of solving other more important problems that affect everyday people's life.In this case politics and Ethics are not closely related!

Why do you say "ethics and politics are not related" in this example, Romina???
And thinking of smaller issues, can you relate all this discussion to issues within your hands?
;-)
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Gladys
Hi Gladys: Well if I come back to the concept of Ethics I have to say that in this example I told you, Ethics and Politics are related because we can consider Ethics different for each other, what is right for me would be wrong for you, for instance. So may be for United States is a question of humanitarian campaign but for Iraq it is related to death.
I think that it is a serious case because it has influence on people's life!
I think that we should work together in order to build a better society, we would start improving with our own actions and from our little place in life! Sometimes it is not so little as we think!
Kisses
We might say politics is "ethics at a collective level", Romina... In that sense, what positive values would be threatened for the peoples who go into war? They must be important indeed, for them to risk it all in order to defend them, don't you think?
And what would you be ready to die for? (don't bother to answer this question, it's just too big!!!).
A cyberhug,
Gladys
